Safam is the Boston-based six man band that has dominated Jewish music since 1974 with their Jewish American sound. Often copied but never duplicated, they are originals: original music, original lyrics, and original arrangements. Their tapestry of music has become a part of the fabric of our Jewish lives and covers a variety of styles including Rock, Pop, Chasidic, Gospel, Cantorial, Reggae, Latin and Folk; all with a decidedly Jewish Flavor. Laughter, tears, singing, dancing, nostalgia and hope are among the whirlwind of emotions that one experiences at a Safam concert.
