We're going to kick it off this year by putting the social back into social service!
Come meet other Jewish young professionals in Anne Arundel County, and do a mitzvah at the same time! We will be making bagged lunches for Light House, an organization in Annapolis that provides shelter as well as homelessness prevention services. And, of course, we will be socializing as we work. This event is a week before Rosh Hashanah--what a wonderful way to usher in the new year!
Please help us cover the cost of supplies. The suggested donation is $10. If we wind up with any money left over, we will donate it to Light House.
In addition to food, Light House is always in need of travel-sized toiletries. So if you've got any small toothpaste tubes, or hotel soaps or shampoos, please bring them with you.
